Following various reports and proclamations that "food is the new indie-rock" (Guardian, Toronto Star, LA Weekly, Washington Post, Evening Standard) and inspired by the Planet Hollywood chain and the success of Lady Dinah's Kickstarted funded Cat Cafe in London, DiS has found a recipe for its financial woes.
Launching this summer, the Drowned in Tea & Ale pop-up cafe, situated on London's Southbank, will feature a menu inspired by some of our favourite albums and artists, as well as act as a real world hub for our community. We will also host our live sessions in the cafe and at night it will turn into a speakeasy-style bar, with ales by our friends from Signature Brew.
