'Down with Wilco', the recent collaboration between Seattle collective The Minus 5 and Wilco, finally looks to have a release date. The two bands had an entire album's worth of material in the can, but when Mammoth Records folded last summer they were forced to shelve it. Yep Roc Records will release this in February.
The album was produced by Scott McCaughey and Jeff Tweedy and also features Minus 5 regulars Peter Buck (R.E.M.) and Ken Stringfellow (The Posies); they're joined on this album by guests Rebecca Gates (Spinanes), Sean O'Hagan (High Llamas), singer Christy McWilson, vilolinist Jessy Greene, and engineers Charlie Francis and Brian Paulson
