Irish songwriter sort Duke Special is on tour here right now, and sorta by way of celebration he's offering fans a free downloadable mini-album.
Woot? Sure thing.
When The Bear Bytes (a few of my favourite things) is available to download from here; by clicking that link you can also hear Mr Special's new single 'Freewheel', out this week on V2.
The five-tracker's tracklisting looks something like this:
'John Lennon Love' 'I Let You Down (Like A Tonne Weight)' 'Stumble And Fall' 'Feet In The Sky' 'Love Is A Series Of Scars'
A wallet to keep a lovely burned-CD of these tracks can be collected at any one of Duke Special's tour dates, which are as follows:
February 7 NEWCASTLE Cluny 8 EDINBURGH Cabaret Voltaire 9 GLASGOW King Tuts 10 STOCKTON Georgian Theatre 11 LEEDS Faversham 13 BIRMINGHAM Glee Club 14 SHEFFIELD Leadmill 15 BRISTOL Thekla Social 16 NORWICH Arts Centre 17 BRIGHTON Duke Of York's 19 NOTTINGHAM Social 20 MANCHESTER Matt & Phreds 21 LONDON ULU 22 OXFORD Zodiac 28 BELFAST Ulster Hall
