The majestically brilliant Future Islands have confirmed a UK tour for later this year, the first since the release of their fantastic record, In Evening Air. We're pretty excited about this. They'll play these dates at these places:
September: 29 - London, CAMP Basement 30 - Brighton, Freebutt
October: 1 - Manchester, Islington Mill 2 - Glasgow, Cry Parrot 3 - Leeds, The Library 20 - Dublin, Workman's Club
As mentioned in the title to this article, there's also a free mp3. That's of 'Walking Through That Door' and can be obtained digitally by clicking yersel' here. It's the opening track from the album and one of the finest. So get it.
As also mentioned in the title, they've also announced that they'll be releasing a four-track acoustic EP featuring songs recorded for WYPR earlier in the year. It's called Undressed and will be out some time soon, before the European tour, I'm told. Should be a goodun.
