Dance-punks with sharp suits and sharper riffs, Head Automatica, tour the UK later this month.

The tour will be the band's first, following two previously aborted attempts. Vocalist Daryl Palumbo has long suffered from Crohn's Disease, and this forced Head Automatica to miss support slots with both The Used and Lostprohets in the UK.

In addition to the tour dates, the band are to release a limited-edition version of their 'Beating Heart Baby' single, featuring a remix by El-P and another by Chris Lord-Alge. The seven-inch is released on May 28.

Dates:

May 23 Southampton University 25 Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall 26 Manchester Academy 2 27 Glasgow Garage 28 London Mean Fiddler

June 10 Cardiff University
