Former Pulp front man Jarvis Cocker is asking fans to help pick support acts for his forthcoming European tour.
In a MySpace blog - click here if you like - Jarvis writes:
"I need your help regarding these upcoming shows - I'd like to get interesting support acts from the locality of each concert and thought maybe you might have some suggestions. So if you know of good bands/performers in or around Milan, Amsterdam, Brussels, Cologne, Hamburg, Copenhagen or Stockholm please let me know. A link to some music might be useful and the performers MUST be local because the promoters can't provide much of a fee for performing."
Anyone with suggestions can, presumably, get in touch with Jarvis via his MySpace site here.
European tour dates as follows (UK dates here)
January 18 Milan Magazzini Generali 20 Vienna FM4 Fest at the Arena 22 Amsterdam Paradiso 24 Brussels Ancienne Belgique 25 Cologne Live Music Hall 27 Hamburg Gross Freheit 28 Copenhagen Vega 29 Stockholm Berns
Stockholm, eh? DiS might just have a band there or thereabouts, Mr Cocker...
