This year's edition of Iceland Airwaves was already looking quite wonderful with previous announcements but, as ever, it's getting stronger. Some new acts have just been confirmed for the Reykjavik-based, October music festival and they are all listed below. Good ones, too.

They join a bunch of other excellent acts including Tune-Yards, Young Galaxy, Deathcrush, Samaris, Sin Fang, Honningbarna, Kira Kira, Retro Stefson, The Vaccine, John Grant, Dungen and a few more. More information can be found on the official website. Airwaves runs from October 12-16.
