The legendarily depressed Leonard Cohen will head to the UK and Ireland this summer for a short series of live dates.
The singer, pictured above with his tree, is yet to confirm whether or not he’ll be collaborating with Cadence Weapon, but he will be at an Opera House, Arena or Castle near you in between a number of European festival appearances.
Those include Benicassim and the reasonably amusingly named Nice Jazz Festival. All, below:
June 14 Dublin IMMA 15 Dublin IMMA 18 Manchester Opera House 19 Manchester Opera House 20 Manchester Opera House 21 Manchester Opera House 29 Glastonbury Festival
July 1 Oslo Aliset Stadium 3 Helsingborg Open Air 5 Copenhagen Rosenborg Castle 6 Arhuus Radhus Parken 8 Montreux Jazz Festival 9 Lyon Festival 10 Bruges Cactus 12 Amsterdam Westerdam 16 Edinburgh Castle 17 London o2 Arena 19 Lisbon Passeio Maritimo 20 Benicassim Festival 22 Nice Jazz Festival 25 Lorrach Stimmen De Weit 27 Lucca Summer Festival 29 Athens Lykabettus Theatre
Ticket details for some of the concerts are yet to emerge, though entrance to the Manchester and Dublin shows can be bartered for from 9am this Friday (14 Mar). More news will follow.
