The quite unique drum and bass duo that makes Lightning Bolt have just announced a UK tour for December, taking in the sights of Leeds, Bristol, Minehead, London, Manchester and Brighton.
Yes, we are acutely aware that all of these places are in England, but that's the way it goes sometimes. They've also just been confirmed as playing the In Between Days type interval at Butlins, Minehead, so pop along there if you can take the midweek brutality.
Anyway, here's where they'll be playing - complete with ATP shows:
December:
3 - Leeds, Brudenell Social Club 4 - Bristol, Fleece & Firkin 5 - Minehead, All Tomorrow's Parties 6 - Minehead, All Tomorrow's Parties 7 - Minehead, All Tomorrow's Parties, In Between Days 8 - Birmingham, Capsule 10th Birthday @ Vivid 9 - Manchester, Islington Mill 10 - London, The Dome 11 - Brighton, Audio 12 - Minehead, All Tomorrow's Parties 13 - Minehead, All Tomorrow's Parties
The guys have also got an album on its way. Entitled Earthly Delights, it comes as the follow-up to 2005's Hypermagic Mountain which was, you may have noticed, quite some time ago.
Why is that fellow wearing a dishrag on his face, you ask? I don't know, nor do I particularly care.
