Icelandic (oh, how topical) neo-classical maestro Ólafur Arnalds releases a new record on May 10, entitled...and they have escaped the weight of darkness. That comes out through Erased Tapes. What is being offered to you now, however, is a free track from the album called 'Þú ert sólin'. No, I have no idea how to pronounce it either, but musically it's a beautiful thing.
To get the free download of 'Þú Ert Sólin', either visit the official site or just click here and be done with it in an instant. It's of a lower quality than if you'd buy the real thing so, y'know, buy the real thing.
The new LP has the following tracks:
• Þú Ert Sólin
• Þú Ert Jörðin
• Tunglið
• Loftið Verður Skyndilega Kalt
• Kjurrt
• Gleypa Okkur
• Hægt, Kemur Ljósið
• Undan Hulu
• Þau Hafa Sloppið Undan Þunga Myrkursins
Album art is also quite beauteous.
PLUS, there's also a video preview trailer, which you can watch below:
