As our previous esteemed editor pointed out way back in 2006 Quack Quack is a totally rubbish name for a band, conjuring images of something along the lines of comedy electro-synth-pop without a hint of irony and 'wacky' vocals. In reality they are nothing like this. Which is a light relief.
Silly name aside, they release their new record on May 10, entitled Slow As An Eyeball, which is also a crap name. Ach, well, you can't have it ALL, or at least you can't expect it. As a celebration of the record and a promotional tool in equal parts, they've made available for free a track from that album. To download and stuff.
It's called 'D Motherfucker D' (this theme of shit names is starting to get a little bit tiring here...) and the effects are doubled when turned up loud. No vocals, instruMental. Listen or download it.
