The MOJO awards took place last night. You know, the ones on behalf of the music magazine, MOJO. The ceremony happened at some place swankier than you and I are used to frequenting and we thought you might like to know the winners. If you don't, then look away now. There's still time. Not sure if they'll be on TV or anything like. Some good ones in there, too.
Here they are:
The MOJO Breakthrough Act Winner: The Low Anthem
The MOJO Vision Award Winner: Oil City Confidential
The MOJO Medal Winner: Mute's Daniel Miller
The MOJO Maverick Award Winner: Hawkwind
The MOJO Best Live Act Winner: Midlake
The MOJO Compilation Of The Year Winner: Amorphous Androgynous
The MOJO Merit Award: Winner: Devo
The MOJO Classic Album Award Winner: The Stone Roses
The MOJO Catalogue Release Of The Year Winner: The Beatles - Remastered
The MOJO Roots Award Winner: Kate & Anna McGarrigle
The MOJO Hero Award Winner: Marc Almond
The MOJO Classic Songwriter Award Winner: Roy Wood
The MOJO Best Album Winner: Richard Hawley - Truelove's Gutter

Quite a lot better than last year, looking at it. More information about each and every winner - including a few word's from MOJO's Phil Alexander - can be found here. So, what do you think of that list? It's not too bad at all, is it?
