Snoop Dogg's mother, Beverly Broadus Green, has established an organisation designed to steer children away from the tempting world of guns and gangs.
Snoop's mother said that she had always dreamed of being able to help "the kids on drugs, the mothers on crack or mothers who are experiencing domestic violence".
My mother runs a pre-school class in Hampshire. It does not promote guns or gangs, either. She cooks a mean roast, too*.
