Prog is not a dirty word, brothers and sisters: the days of ELP are long gone, so join DiS in celebrating the news that The Mars Volta have all but finished their third studio long-player.
Currently without a release date, Amputechture is the follow-up to last year's frankly excellent, if a little long-winded, Frances The Mute. The tracklisting, sure to have all but the finest linguist's tongue in a terrible twist, is below.
'Vicarious Atonement' 'Tetragrammaton' 'Vermicide' 'Meccamputechture' 'Asilos Magdalena' 'Viscera Eyes' 'Day Of The Baphomets' 'El Ciervo Vulnerado'
DiScuss: Seriously, though, nothing TMV have released so far has matched the brilliance of At The Drive-In's Relationship Of Command, has it?
