The band are still without a record deal and the Bradford-born singer said: "If we'd had a major label it would have been released by now, but it would've been a hazy continuation of the first album." "I even went to live in the studio for all of January. Sleeping behind the drums. I lost myself in candelight, mountains of notes, the sound of piano and violin."
A number of the leading tracks on the second album were also revealed on the bands website:
Running Girl: "Vocodery accoustic 60s space folk pop groove with shouting Sophie"
Open the hatch: "Big clattery song about death, the lack of God and aliens, and the suprising wonder of the afterlife. Contains 32 tracks of Sophie, like a choir of angels."
Bluebell Morning: "Big fat song, latter live favourite."
Dreams in the air: "Accoustic song which feels like 'Roll me in Cotton'"
Memoirs of a Cunt: "A song about someone we used to know"
Caffeine Dance: "I can't describe this one"
There is no confirmed release date for 'Hey Petrunko'
