Patti Smith, legendary pioneering punk singer/poet/artist, is one of the few names that you'll often see on musicians such as Courtney Love and PJ Harvey's roll call of credible influences.
With her unique couldn't-give-a-fuck style and biting lyrics, she leaves all other long haired wanna bes wishing they'd never been born.
