Icelandic post-rockers Sigur Rós are to follow up their acclaimed Takk... LP of 2005 with a book this summer. Not a record. A book. With pages and everything.
In A Frozen Sea: A Year With Sigur Rós is a neatly bound document - sure to be embellished with nice snaps - of the quartet's tour of their homeland in 2006.
A special box-set - including the book alongside vinyl pressings of the band's Takk..., (), Agaetis Byrjun and Smaskifa albums will be made available; it's limited to 5,000 copies and released on June 1.
Expect it to be expensive.
