So this is the second single and it doesn’t sound a million miles from the first, ACTUALLY, with Coin-Op’s staple mix of pleasingly-squelching synths, fuzzily-distorted Sonic Youth guitars and vocalist Nick yelping incomprehensibly. Like some artpop thing and like Supergrass in some ways and Blur in others, dropped into a great, big bastard of a pop computer with Electrelane and The Strokes and The Cardiacs albums chucked into program, mixed about by four skinny men breathing in the south-coast breezes from Brighton, England.
Only 500 copies available on indietastic 7” vinyl. Go get one.
