Spiritualized will get ANOTHER chance to do the 'Don't Look Back' thing later in the year, as they'll perform their seminal album, Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space at the Matt Groening-curated ATP in May. Nice.
The record, originally released in 1997, was re-released late last year, and, perhaps predictably, gained full marks from us. Deservedly so, you'd have to say. They did a similar thing for four nights at the Royal Festival Hall and Barbican last year, so we know what to expect, roughly.
As well as Spiritualized, these groups are also confirmed:
Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions: Cold Cave: The Tiger Lillies: The Fresh And Onlys Hello Saferide
They join this 'orrible lot:
CocoRosie Iggy & The Stooges The XX Ponytail Built To Spill James Chance and Les Contortions Thee Oh Sees Juana Molina Lightning Dust Konono N°1 Panda Bear The Residents Deerhunter Broadcast Daniel Johnston Amadou & Mariam Shonen Knife Ruins (solo) The Boredoms Toumani Diabate Danielson James Blackshaw Anni Rossi Viv Albertine's Limerence
The weekend takes place at Butlins, Minehead from May 7-9, and you can get your tickets from See Tickets, for either £170 or £160, depending on what sort of option you choose. You should know the deal by now.
