US indie-rockers of hella DiS love, The Shins, are to tour the US next month before crossing the sea for a one-off show at London's Astoria.
The tour comes in support of the band's new album, Wincing The Night Away, due out on these shores on January 22 via Transgressive/Sub Pop. American fans will have to wait a whole 24 hours more for the album, as is typical. Why are albums released on Tuesdays in the States? Anyone...?
If you're one of our American readers, you can catch the four-piece on t'telly on January 13 by tuning in to Saturday Night Live. The second part of DiS's interview with The Shins' James Mercer will run soon; part one can be read here.
