Subscriptions

1. How do I subscribe?

2. How do paid subscriptions work?

You can subscribe monthly or yearly. You’ll keep access until the end of the paid period, even if you cancel early. We don't offer partial refunds. Please manage your own subscription settings.

3. Do subscriptions auto-renew?

Yes, on the subscription plan you were on in the previous period, and even if you started on a discount.

4. Can I switch from a monthly to yearly plan, and vice versa?

Yes, you can. If you switch to a yearly subscription from a monthly, you will be immediately upgraded to the yearly plan, and your year of paid access will start on the date you upgrade. That means if you have time left in the month you already paid for, it will be lost. If this concerns you, consider waiting until your current paid month has run out before switching.

If you switch from a yearly to a monthly subscription, you will retain access to the site through the full year period for which you paid, and then be charged monthly after that.

5. Can I make a one-time contribution?

Yes, visit our Tip Jar.

6. How do I cancel my subscription?

Sign in to your Account → Change next to your subscription Scroll down and click Cancel subscription → Confirm.

Your Account

1. How do I sign in?

Click here. Enter your email address to receive a secure sign in link sent to your email account. Click the sign in link and stay logged in for weeks or months on the same browser.

2. Can I create a password instead?

No, not yet. You sign in using the secure link - no passwords needed.

Newsletters

1. How do I unsubscribe?

Click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email, or sign in to your Account → Emails → Manage and click “Unsubscribe from all emails.”

Note: Unsubscribing from emails doesn’t cancel your paid subscription.

2. Not getting our emails?

Make sure @drownedinsound.org is whitelisted in your email settings to avoid spam filters.
