Kings of Leon are what they are

The same band, with the same failings, that have pitched their tent in exactly the same spot as last time around

A collection of vividly alive songs

A record which comes so close to being brilliant but somehow falls frustratingly short

Somehow, in the midst of the misery, Dare seems to find some sort of solace

Some really nice pop on display, but may not stand up to repeated listening
