Review

Whine of the Mystic is, above all else, an enjoyable album

There is much to enjoy in I Aubade if you’re willing to pay attention

Her fine ear for detail and restraint distinguishes her from her melodramatic peers.

It remains lacklustre in its power

Nine coherent but diverse songs of never less than transcendent beauty

Really, what’s the point?
