Review

More successful than his last solo attempt, but there is still something lacklustre

There’s not a millisecond wasted, not the slightest sliver of fat in evidence

An album to obsess over on sleepless nights.

This is not an album that’s ever going to scream for our attention, but it warrants it all the same

Four women growing up, finding their voice, and confronting the world unflinchingly on their own terms.

To expect something as perfect as Hex Enduction Hou or This Nation’s Saving Grace in 2015 would be ludicrous
